Marine Halotolerant Bacteria from Saurashtra Coast: Characterization and Potential Applications in Food Enzyme Production and Nano-biotechnological Processes

Deviben Chhatrodiya and Jignesh H Kamdar

Marine environments, particularly coastal regions, harbor a rich and underexplored diversity of halotolerant bacteria with potential biotechnological applications. The present study aims to isolate, identify, and characterize halotolerant bacterial strains from the coastal areas of Veraval and Kodinar in Saurashtra, Gujarat, to assess their physiological traits and potential uses. This study explores the isolation, diversity, and physiological characterization of marine halotolerant bacteria from the coastal areas of Veraval and Kodinar in Saurashtra, Gujarat.
