Special Issue on Nanotechnology in Food Safety, Food Processing and Packaging

Introduction

Nanotechnology, a technique for the control of matter at a nanoscale, is a newly emerging sector in food industry, providing high impacts on food processing, packaging, preservation, stability, functionality, bioavailability of nutrients, and safety. Food industry will continue to adapt this nanotechnology in various aspects for product development due to its unique and innovative properties. Thus, the special issue for this new technology is a timely subject.

Topics

“Nanotechnology in Food Safety, Food Processing and Packaging” mainly focuses on the scientific work which associates with the microbial and physical effects on processing, packaging of food and their impact on the food, considering food safety.

This special issue is aimed to furnish opportunity for researchers/scholars/academicians to present their scientific work in the emerging world of food sector, on the following topics, food engineering properties, processing, measurement, control, food packaging technology, storage and distribution, properties of food packing, nutrition content, nanotechnology in food safety, production and processing using nanotechnology.

Journal of Food Chemistry & Nanotechnology would like to collaborate with researchers/scholars and other academicians in the arena of food safety, food processing and packaging to consider submitting original research, reviews, case reports, technical notes of their latest work.
